This thread is for comments or questions about my blog article "Install Ubuntu Linux on 2nd hard drive for dual boot with Windows XP", which describes how I installed Ubuntu 9.04 on a second hard drive in a way that avoided making permanent changes to the existing Windows drive, and how I configured the GRUB boot loader file menu.lst so the system auto-reboots into whichever operating system was last used.
